Service Agreement Terms
By requesting garage door services from D&L Garage Doors, you agree to these terms and conditions. All work is performed by licensed, bonded, and insured technicians in accordance with Washington state regulations.
License Information: WASHINGTON LNI# DLGARGD820CF - Licensed for residential and commercial garage door installation, repair, and maintenance in Vancouver, Washington.
Service Availability & Scheduling
Standard Business Hours: Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Same-Day Service: Available within 24 hours of your scheduled call, subject to technician availability and location within our standard service area.
Emergency Service: Available seven days a week including Sundays, holidays, and after-hours. Emergency rates apply for services requested outside standard business hours.
Service Area: Primary coverage includes Vancouver, Washington and surrounding Clark County communities. Extended areas may incur additional travel charges.
Pricing & Payment Terms
Service Call Policy: Service calls for standard residential repairs within our primary service area during business hours include diagnostic time and written estimate.
Written Estimates: Provided at $89 for new installations and major repairs. This fee is applied toward your final invoice when service is completed.
Emergency & Extended Area Service: Minimum fee of $289 (plus applicable tax) required upfront for after-hours, weekend, holiday, or extended service area calls. This fee is applied toward your final invoice.
Payment: Due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made in advance. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Final Pricing: All estimates are subject to final inspection. Pricing may vary based on accessibility, material requirements, or conditions discovered during service.
Warranty Terms
Workmanship Warranty: We provide a minimum one-year warranty on our workmanship from the date of service completion.
Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranties on parts and hardware vary by brand and product. Specific warranty terms will be provided with your service agreement.
Warranty Exclusions: Photo eyes, safety sensors, remote controls, batteries, and accessories are not covered under warranty. Warranty does not cover misalignment, damage from misuse, normal wear and tear, or issues arising after our service that were not reported within 30 days.
Warranty Claims: Must be reported promptly and are subject to inspection. Warranty coverage is void if unauthorized repairs or modifications are performed on the system.
Customer Responsibilities
Access: Customer must provide safe, unobstructed access to work areas and electrical connections.
Property Protection: Customer is responsible for removing vehicles, personal items, and ensuring clear workspace.
System Usage: Proper operation and maintenance of garage door systems as instructed by our technicians.
Reporting Issues: Warranty claims and service issues must be reported within 30 days of service completion.
Limitation of Liability
D&L Garage Doors maintains comprehensive liability insurance for property protection during service calls. Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage from improper use, or consequences of deferred maintenance that were not part of the original service agreement.
